The Senior Engineer - CS Core role is a vital function of GNOC in GSC India. 2nd Level Assurance is responsible for the end-to-end 2nd Level technical support for the issues arising in Managed Services Customers’ cellular network

What you will do

Hands on system for Ericsson & Huawei switch routing Fixing Skills of Core Nodes Deployed in Circle Fault Handling in Co Ordination with NOC and Back Office Daily Report analysis and action plan for KPI Dip Routine audit of Parameters of Different Core Nodes CR Handling and Co Ordination with SRF Team. Customer Complaint resolution in coordination with TSG. Configuration/Coordination for BSNL POI AT testing. Ensuring Core Node Backup Process Alignment to Guideline share by Customer /Central Team Any other responsibility w.r.t Network upkeep requirements.

You will bring

Good knowledge and understanding of the CORE nodes in the network. Good knowledge & understanding of Trace analysis Wireshark traces Work in an efficient way, particularly with respect to the tasks corresponding with their function (level) Specialist Expertise on GSM Protocols (i.e. SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, Diameter, SIP signaling) GSM Call flows and Call scenarios, Multiple Test Cases, AT and clear understanding. Multi-Vendor expertise like Huawei /Nokia /Ericsson. Hands on experience on Huawei Products: MSOFTX3000, UMG8900, SE2900, SPS, HSS, IMS (P, I, S-CSCF, ATS, MGCF, MRFP, CG, ENUM, DRA) 2G/3G/LTE/4G, VoLTE/IMS, call flows. Network Architecture and its subparts. Performance & Characteristics of CORE Network Nodes.

Education

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent

Experience

5-14 Years of experience in CORE network.
