About the Role & Responsibilities

Arranges for In-process, Final inspections and Testing in accordance with requirements.Prepares Control Plan.Analyses non-conforming products and decides on their disposition.Release of conforming components/ Products.Ensure calibration done at predetermined intervals.Ensures only calibrated instruments used in the production line.Ensures proper handling, storage, preservation and packing of components and products.Deals with non-conformance and initiates suitable corrective and preventive action in the department.Identifies training needs of Personnel in the department.Maintain Quality records of the departments.Has responsibility to monitor continuous improvement activity.Has authority to stop production if there is serious quality problem.Has direct responsibility for Layout Inspection/ Functional testing/ Product Audit / Dock auditHas responsibility to prepare the PPAP documents and samplesMonitoring the trends of quality related issues.FTN ApprovalPre-dispatch inspection (PDI)

Qualifications:Mechanical engineer (BE or Diploma)Desired Profile:Above three years experience with Auto component manufacturing industry
