Position Overview: We are seeking a Program Associate to support our online Communications. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about storytelling through various mediums.


Key Responsibilities:

Website curation:

  • Updating our website with our problem statement, vision and mission.
  • Creating relevant website content about our programme that clearly drives the narrative of our cause.
  • Maintaining a weekly blog on nutrition, food insecurity and hunger based on recommendations from the team.
  • Coordinating with the IT team to implement changes to our website.

Social Media:

  • Creating stories for Instagram and Facebook based on our program functions (static and video).
  • Curating stories of change, growth and research material for our LinkedIn.
  • Coordinating with the photography, videography and graphic designing departments to ensure high quality output for all our social media.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Tracking engagement and documenting best practices for our website and social media.
  • Maintaining a social media and blog calendar.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in non-profit communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and data management tools.
  • Ability to work with SEO and ad manager is a plus.
