Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Swan Softweb Solutions in Ahmedabad. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications by performing manual testing and software quality assurance activities. They will also collaborate with the software development team to identify and resolve any defects or issues in the software.

Qualifications

  • Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance skills
  • Experience in manual and automation testing and software development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and processes
  • Knowledge of testing tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
  • Relevant certifications in software quality assurance or testing
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Experience as a Quality Assurance / Software Testing specialist
  • Should have experience in automation tools and frameworks - Selenium or NUnit is must
  • Extensive experience in web applications testing
  • Experience in Web API testing using Soap UI (Groovy scripting) / Postman is required
  • Should have basic knowledge on Scripting languages and SQL query
  • Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools (Example: ALM, AzDo)
  • Expertise in software testing fundamentals and test techniques
  • A track record of performing testing activities through the test life-cycle
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and report the risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Experience of working individually as well as in a team
  • Need strong analytical and communication skills
  • Exposure to performance, load testing(Optional)
