Senior Engineer - Applications DevelopmentWhat can you expect:Recognition – global career advancement opportunitiesAccountability – accountability and ownership of project deliveriesCareer Growth – excellent performance is recognized by career mobilityWhat is in it for you:Standard MMC Salary PackageStandard MMC Colleague BenefitsAn opportunity to join a new and growing teamWe will count on you to:Act as Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBSHands on Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Architecture and functional aspects of Oracle ApplicationsHighly self-motivated, detail oriented and committed individual with an ability to take up initiatives and execute tasks with full ownership and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction.Good functional knowledge of modules: GL, AP, iExpenses and Taxation is must.Deriving resolution of application problems/issues predominantly in Procure to pay cycle.Ensure new services have a fully developed end to end support structure, including processes, SLAs and KPIs commensurate with business requirements and priorities.Owner of driving major incidents & problem tickets ensuring coordination with resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review.Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zonesSupporting key business processes/activities including Month end and Year end support activities to Business users.Partners with business and technology managers to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements.Proficient in writing Functional Design DocumentsExperience in mapping business requirements, gap analysis and preparation of Functional/Technical Design documentsEffectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution and anticipates and prevents problems before they occur.Regularly ensuring good health of production systems and data integrity with upstream/downstream systemsTriaging and analyzing application, data and upstream/downstream integration issues and Monitor Alert notifications and System logs and take appropriate actionDebug complex issues and present their impact along with recommended solution to users and managementCollaborate with Developers, Business Stakeholders, Testers and other Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery.Be integral member in signing off the design and solution developed by development teams before accepting the change in Production.Utilizing past experience to implement innovative approaches to help improve business processes and system performance.Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.Improve the enterprise systems by leveraging existing solutions when building new technology.Collaborate with non-ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable solutions.Prepare Oracle Functional, Technical Design documents and Unit test documents for the related areas.Ability to manage technical team to ensure performance driven deliveries.Performs other duties as assigned.What you need to have:At least 6 to 9 years of experience in IT as Oracles Functional Finance ConsultantKnowledge in Oracle Application Financial Modules Payables, General Ledger, iExpenses.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.Good communicator & presentation skills to senior stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency.People Management skills.Experience Oracle Workflow and Business Events (preferred)Experience in Oracle 12.2 Upgrade (Not essential)What makes you stand out:Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationshipsExcellent Problem solving skills with innovative and proactive approachAbility to identify process improvement opportunitiesAdaptability to changeKnowledge of processes & best practices within the team & industryPeople management skillsManagement of global stakeholdersPlanning and decision making skills(NYSE: MMC) is the world’s leading professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy and people.
