As an IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing and optimizing ITSM and ITOM processes to ensure efficient and effective IT service delivery.


Roles & Responsibilities

? Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing ITSM/ITOM tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

? Responsibilities: ITSM Implementation: Lead the implementation and configuration of ITSM processes and tools. Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational goals.

? ITOM Configuration: Configure and manage IT Operations Management tools to monitor and optimize IT infrastructure. Implement automation solutions for routine operational tasks. Incident and Problem Management: Oversee incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis. Implement strategies to minimize the impact of incidents. Change Management: Facilitate change management processes, including assessing, planning, and implementing changes. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure change approvals and communication. Service Catalog and Request Fulfilment: Develop and maintain the IT service catalog. Streamline request fulfilment processes to enhance user experience.

? Monitoring and Alerting: Configure and manage monitoring tools for proactive identification of IT issues. Define alerting thresholds and response procedures. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within ITSM and ITOM. Collaborate with teams to implement enhancements and best practices.


Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of ITSM and ITOM configurations, processes, and procedures. Create training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.

? Provide operational support for the BMC (Remedy/BMC Atrium Orchestrator/Discover) solutions and related services Should have Standard Service Requests Implementation experience.

? Performance tuning of the ARS and ITSM components, e.g. Midtier, CMDB, Escalation, Email Engine, Atrium Integrator.

? Knowledge on Unix, Windows Operating Systems.

? Communicating with OEM for the issues and involving escalation resources as per requirement.

? Good Scripting experience (SQL, PERL, BIRT, TCL, Expect, ksh, csh, Java Scripting).
