Job Title: Plant Head – Modular Furniture Production

Department: Production / Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Plant Head with 2+ years of experience in modular furniture or interior manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee all plant operations, including production planning, quality control, manpower management, material coordination, and on-time project execution. The role requires strong leadership and a practical understanding of modular manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end plant operations for modular furniture production.
• Supervise daily production activities to ensure timelines, quality standards, and cost targets are met.
• Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams for seamless workflow.
• Implement and maintain production schedules as per project requirements.
• Monitor material movement, inventory, and waste management.
• Ensure adherence to quality control checks and safety protocols.
• Lead and motivate the production team to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Address breakdowns or production delays in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Maintain documentation for production, quality, and dispatch reports.
• Initiate process improvements and contribute to lean manufacturing practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in plant or production management within the modular furniture/interior industry.
• Strong knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing processes, materials (like MDF, plywood, laminates), and hardware.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per year
