  • Install, configure, and upgrade MySQL database software and related products
  • Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for MySQL, MS SQL )
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift, Oracle).
  • Design and implement database structures, tables, indexes, and functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of MySQL database architecture, administration, and optimization.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with database design and implementation best practices.
  • Experience in Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Hands-on Experience in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, database design issues, and other inefficiencies.
  • Experience in implementing and managing database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Perform regular database backups and test restore procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor database activity for security vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor system health and proactively address issues to ensure continuous availability.
  • Strong knowledge in investigating and resolving database-related incidents and problems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support database-related application development.
  • Work with other IT teams to integrate database systems with other applications and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Proven experience as a MySQL Database Administrator.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with automation tools for database management.

MYSQL DBA Skills, AWS RDS, AWS Lambda, AWS Cloud knowledge along with DMS and ETL experience.
