Civil Draftsperson

Job Description
Job Summary:

The Civil Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and land development. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers.

• Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using CAD software.
  
• Interpret and apply information from engineering designs, specifications, and calculations to produce accurate drafts.
  
• Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
  
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes in project specifications.
  
• Ensure that all drafts comply with industry standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
  
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  

Requirements Requirements/Skills Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering or a related field preferred.
  
• At least 3+ years of experience as a Draftsman with a focus on civil or a similar role.
  
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
  
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.
  
• Ability to interpret complex engineering designs and specifications.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  
• Experience with GIS software and other drafting tools is a plus.
  

Additional Job Details:

Set-up and Location: Office-based (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu)/Remote
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Full-time
