Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Gurgaon Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual, functional, and regression testing for both web and mobile applications. Knowledge of Automation tools is a plus. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality and usability. Key Responsibilities: Execute manual, functional, and regression testing for web and mobile applications. Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports. Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla or Azure DevOps. Perform smoke testing, sanity testing, and re-testing after bug fixes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product releases. Participate in review meetings to provide feedback on product design and functionality. Ensure complete coverage of requirements and maintain traceability matrices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field. 3–4 years of experience in manual testing. Strong understanding of functional, regression, and usability testing. Experience testing web and mobile (Android/iOS) applications. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.G., JIRA, Trello, TestRail, Azure DevOps ). Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Exposure to API testing (Postman) and SQL for backend validation. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is a plus.
