This is a full-time, on-site role focused on credit evaluation for LAP borrowers. The role requires deep expertise in underwriting LAP in the range of ₹1–10 lakhs. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team, assessing borrower creditworthiness, ensuring adherence to credit norms, and strengthening our LAP lending portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Oversee risk assessment processes, ensuring that portfolio quality is maintained in line with organizational standards.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Review and monitor existing loan accounts to detect early warning signals and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Build and implement robust credit policies and frameworks aligned with best practices in LAP lending.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Collaborate with external lending partners and coordinate with internal functions such as sales and operations to streamline the credit approval process.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development, knowledge sharing, and performance excellence.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Actively contribute towards the organization's growth by developing strategies for managing unsecured and secured LAP credit risks.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Minimum 10–15 years of experience in credit underwriting LAP, with strong focus on ticket sizes between ₹1 lakh to ₹10 lakhs.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Experience in managing credit for regions/zones and leading teams of at least 10–15 members.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Prior exposure to NBFC or FinTech environments is highly preferred.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Proven expertise in handling credit assessment for proprietorships and partnerships.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Demonstrated ability to create, refine, and enforce credit policies to safeguard portfolio quality.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Strong analytical mindset, able to balance risk management with business growth.
- p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0"> Excellent stakeholder management skills, working seamlessly with both external lenders and internal teams.
