Job Title : Content Writer

Position Overview:


The Content writer will play a key role in our marketing team, responsible for creating captivating and persuasive content for various digital platforms, including websites/apps, social media, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative writing, with experience working in an agency environment and a proven track record of producing high-quality content that drives engagement and conversion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative and compelling copy for a variety of digital channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and concepts that align with brand objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Conduct research and gather information to ensure accuracy and relevance of content, and incorporate SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that effectively communicates key messages and motivates action from the target audience.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and copywriting, and incorporate innovative ideas into content development strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide creative input and feedback during brainstorming sessions and content planning meetings.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in an agency or digital marketing environment.
  • Proven track record of creating compelling and engaging content for websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies, including SEO, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples across different digital channels.
