Role Description-
This is a full-time on-site role in Pune for the position of Co Founder-Director (Business Operations & Strategy) at BestAgro. As a Co Founder-Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the business operations and strategic growth of the company on a day-to-day basis, As the Cofounder-Director at BestAgro, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic vision, managing operations, and spearheading growth initiatives. You will work closely with the founder and the leadership team to build and scale the business, ensuring operational excellence and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities-
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the company's strategic plan, focusing on market expansion, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Identify new business opportunities and innovative solutions to enhance BestAgro’s offerings and market position.
Business Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management of projects such as the BestAgro Mobile App for Farmers.
Implement and refine operational processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Market Development
Drive market entry and expansion strategies, particularly in key agricultural regions across Maharashtra.
Build and manage strategic partnerships with stakeholders, including suppliers, government bodies, and agribusinesses.
Financial Management
Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, financial planning, and investor relations.
Lead fundraising efforts and work closely with investors to secure funding and manage equity.
Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, talent development, and performance management.
Customer and Market Insights
Utilize market data and customer insights to drive product development, improve service offerings, and meet the needs of farmers.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in agriculture.
Qualifications-
Strong background in business operations and strategic management
Demonstrated experience in the agriculture or AgriTech industry
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to develop and implement business strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience in working with cross-functional teams
Skills-
Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement business strategies.
Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high performance culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Education-
Not specified but any background but Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
Additional qualifications or certifications in project management or startup incubation are a plus.
Mindset-
Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for agriculture and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
Willingness to take on a lowerthanmarketstandard salary with the potential for significant equity and long term rewards.
Compensation-
