Job Description:

As the GM of Business Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance and facility operations and client relations within your designated region. This role ensures optimal functioning of production machinery, utility services, and overall client plant infrastructure to support uninterrupted production. Your primary goal will be to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Management: Ensure

efficient and effective delivery of technical / maintenance management services.Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution.Implement operational best practices to enhance service quality and productivity.Develop strategy and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime for all client locations in a region.

Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.Address client concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and expectations.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing regional team.Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and support to ensure the professional growth of team members.Establish and monitor performance metrics for the maintenance team.Ensure effective shift planning and coordination for 24/7 plant operations.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage regional budgets and financial forecasts.Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

HR

& Safety

Compliance and Quality Assurance :Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Implement quality assurance processes to maintain service excellence.Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold operational integrity.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, environmental standards, and local regulatory requirements.Promote a strong safety culture, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance and key metrics.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment downtime, and spare parts inventory.Provide regular reports on maintenance performance metrics, including MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).

Equipment Optimization:Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and implement upgrades.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in equipment reliability and availability.

Vendor and Contractor Management:Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for sourcing of spare parts, equipment, and specialized services.Manage and evaluate service contracts, ensuring quality and timeliness of external services.

Required Qualifications:

Engineering with pref. qualification in business administration or a related fieldProven track record of successful business development and operational leadership in the technical facility management industry.Strong understanding of facility management processes, technologies, and industry standards.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel within the region as required.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.15-20 years of managing business at regional or national level in large MNC companyAge above 45 years

Preferred Qualifications:

B. Tech /M. Tech Mechanical or ElectricalExperience working in Technical Facility Management, Vehicle Manufacturing companies with Technical / Maintenance background is mustMaster’s degree preferred.Candidates from Tier 1 Industry and Competitions are most preferableCandidates from strong Maintenance / Annual Maintenance industry experience only apply
