Role Description :

We are seeking a talented Terraform Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will be proficient in Terraform code development and possess knowledge of Golang for customization purposes.

- Additionally, experience in automated provisioning using Terraform for both on-premises and cloud environments is essential.

- The candidate should also have a strong foundation in bare metal server and storage provisioning basics, along with familiarity with VMware technologies.

- This role requires a proactive individual who can assist the organization with infrastructure and platform automation needs.

- The candidate must have a solid background in infra/platform development and hands-on experience with configuration management tools and RESTful APIs.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a deep understanding of Linux-based infrastructures and administration, are crucial for success in this role.

- The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and security of the organization's infrastructure and platform.

Responsibilities :

1. Developing Terraform code to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources across on-premises and cloud environments.

2. Utilizing Golang for customization and extending Terraform functionalities to meet specific project requirements.

3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define use cases, and design effective automation solutions.

4. Implementing automated provisioning processes for bare metal servers and storage infrastructure.

5. Leveraging Terraform for VMware environments to automate virtualization tasks and streamline infrastructure operations.

6. Providing technical expertise in infrastructure and platform automation to support organizational initiatives.

7. Troubleshooting issues related to Terraform code, infrastructure provisioning, and automation workflows.

8. Participating in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization efforts to improve the reliability and efficiency of automation solutions.

9. Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in infrastructure automation and cloud technologies.

10. Documenting Terraform code, configurations, and automation workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.

11. Mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance on Terraform and Golang best practices.

Required Skills :

1. 5 to 8 years of experience in Terraform code development and infrastructure automation.

2. Proficiency in Golang for customization and extending Terraform functionalities.

3. Hands-on experience with automated provisioning using Terraform for on-premises and cloud environments.

4. Familiarity with bare metal server and storage provisioning basics.

5. Knowledge of VMware technologies and experience with Terraform for VMware environments.

6. Strong understanding of Linux-based infrastructures and system administration.

7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

10. Experience with configuration management tools and RESTful APIs.

11. Relevant certifications in Terraform, Golang, or related technologies are desirable but not mandatory.
