Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer interested in building performant product-based projects, preferably with app platform-based project experience. You will be responsible coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.


Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Python, PHP Laravel based applications development and product functionality.
  • PHP – Curl, API, Web service, Laravel framework.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), programming, and data structuring.
  • Framework – Sessions, libraries, and MVC basics.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical and troubleshooting & debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like GitLab, Jira, etc.
  • Preferred experience in video analytics, database structuring, and AI-based Python programming.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP, MySQL, Python-based applications, and integrations. Efficient, reusable, and reliable backend codes.
  • Design and implement SQL database schemas.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to implement features and enhancements
  • Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications and APIs
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, from backend to frontend
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate emerging technologies as needed


Others:

  • Best practices and object-oriented design implementation, some experience with DevOps, cloud, microservice architecture.
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
  • Understanding of AWS/Azure cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge & experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery) is a plus.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable and robust backend solutions in a product-driven environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges
  • Experience in mentoring junior developers and guiding them through technical challenges
  • Good communication skills and strong ability to work across teams
