Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer - Leak Testing
Department: Quality Assurance
Location: Rudraram Village, Patancheru, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Job Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Leak Testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of transformers by conducting comprehensive leak tests. your primary focus will be developing and implementing robust testing procedures, analysing test results and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality related issues.
Responsibilities
Work planning, monitoring, control of the processess & man power
Knowledge on fabrication drawings, welding processess & related defects.
Knowledge on leak testing equipment maintenance & related measuring device calibrations
Capable of implementation operations of process in line with defined SOPs
Conduct the tests (Penetrant test, Leakage test, Air Pressure & Vacuum tests) as per relevant standards
Analytical ability is required to do RCAs on Non-conforming product
Having knowledge to train new personnel & develop the inspection skills
Knowledge to make leak testing tools, test material, jigs, fixtures, etc.
Awareness on QMS, EMS OHS, and safety process
Awareness on kaizen, work flow, 5S
Basic computer knowledge to book entering hours accounting & exemption and indenting the materials
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech Mechanical)
3+ years relevant testing experience or NDT Testing
Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing environment related to electrical equipment or heavy machinery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly
