BirchAI, recently acquired by Sagility LLC, is a leading healthcare technology company specializing in transformer-based natural language processing. Our platform empowers clients to reduce operational costs and enhance customer experiences through real-time AI-driven solutions.

Your Role :

As a Python Backend Developer at BirchAI, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our cloud-based solutions. You'll work alongside a talented team of professionals to create robust, scalable systems that drive innovation in healthcare technology.

Responsibilities :

- Help lead, define, and communicate technical and design requirements.

- Develop and deploy Machine Learning models which run at scale with high performance and resource optimizations.

- Build highly scalable, functional, and sustainable web applications from 0->1.

- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Provide training, help, and support to other team members as we scale.

- Stay current on new technologies and best practices.

You may be a good fit if you have :

- Minimum of 4 years of full-time experience, ideally in a startup environment or building something end-to-end from scratch.

- Strong Python knowledge and hands-on experience with one of these frameworks like Django, Flask, Falcon, FastAPI.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies - AWS/AZURE/GCP.

- Familiarity with concepts and popular tools for DevOps, containerization, CI/CD.

- Working knowledge of ML/deep learning models.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks is a plus - React, Angular.

- Experience building and operating distributed systems on the cloud is a plus.

- A strong product-oriented mindset.

- Great communication skills.

- A doer mentality in which you are comfortable working in autonomous environments.
