Role Purpose


CIVICA is looking to hire Associate Delivery Manager to join our growing management team. The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day delivery of Agile development projects.


The role will take responsibility for delivering at least one small team (up to 15 members) or a sub-team within a large team for ongoing software development project.


The role is heavily client focusing and will involve engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.


This role will be measured by the following criteria: 85% of working hours to be billable; delivery of high quality product in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System


In general, travel to the BU location could be one visit every 2 years. This can be at short notice and this frequency is not guaranteed as all travel is based on a clear business or project requirement.


Principal Accountabilities


Key Responsibilities and Duties:


· Day to day responsibility for delivery of software development projects.


· Removal of impediments and blockers to project progress.


· Develop and encourage continuous learning within teams.


· Accountable for delivery of a project.


· Highlight the risks, issues to Delivery Manager (DM) and execute mitigation plan, corrective actions.


· Maintain project artifacts (backlog items, burndowns etc.) to ensure effective running of delivery projects.


· Build productive client relationships and identify and develop opportunities for new business.


· Management of project budget.

· Ensure process (project level, organizational) compliance


· Perform the role of Scrum Master (in Scrum based project team)


· Assist DM in Performance Assessment of the team




Education:


· First class and above grade in BE/BTECH/MCA equivalent degree from a university of UGC accreted.

  • Ensuring that they are authorised to supply any information requested, that it is given to only to those authorised to receive it, and that any such requests for information are for a proper purpose.
  • Implementing and acting in accordance with their statutory and legal obligations, CIVICA policies, standards, procedures, guidelines and controls
  • Protecting CIVICA assets within their control from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
  • Reporting security events or potential events or other security risks to CIVICA
  • Performing their job with security best practice in mind and conforming to any best practice frameworks which are used within CIVICA



Employees must not in the course of their work for CIVICA write malicious code or anything intended to cause undesired effects, security breaches or damage to a system.

Line Managers must ensure that anyone reporting to them receive the appropriate level of training and guidance to ensure that employees have the knowledge to comply with legislation, policy and procedure.
