Role andResponsibilities:
The DBA Tech Manager willbe responsible for providing mentoring and daytoday leadership inthe planning and strategy architecture deployment and operation ofdatabase systems. This role requires a strong understanding of datastructures database systems and procedures as well as the abilityto undertake different types of statistical analyses. The Managerwill also be required to participate in the development of shortand longterm strategic initiatives in the Open Systems DatabaseStorage and Cloud spaces. Furthermore regular interfacing withdevelopment teams to integrate databases with other applicationsand updating senior leadership on progress issues and pendingdecisions will becrucial.
CandidateQualifications:
The ideal candidate shouldhold a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field orpossess directly related work experience. Additionally they shouldhave at least 5 years of professional industryrelevant experienceworking on infrastructure teams in a corporateenvironment.
RequiredSkills:
Experience as ateam lead supervisor and/or manager
Solidknowledge/experience with DB2 MS SQL MongoDB and Azure Database asa Service
