Position ProfileWeaver’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in India is looking for a Senior Associate to join our growing team. This individual will assist with financial due diligence projects for our clients. A Senior Associate takes ownership of projects under the supervision of more experienced team members, including performing analysis of complex and often voluminous information, and preparing concise reports. This individual will build analysis from source documents, understand the level of quality and deliverable expectations for each client, and assist in preparing agendas, schedules, and exhibits. The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish trust with the client, and maintain good working relationships and communication with client personnel and teammates. This position can be based in Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, or Kochi India as part of Weaver and Tidwell India, L.L.P.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are

required:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field2-3+ years’ experience in Financial Due Diligence / Audit & Accounting or its equivalent during Articleship or post-qualificationThorough understanding of basic financial statementsSufficient technical skills to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position including a demonstrated understanding of GAAPExperienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.Self-motivated and deadline oriented.

Additionally, the following qualifications are

preferred:Master’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCA preferred
