The company is a newly formed division of a well-established UK management consultancy that has been successfully trading since 2005 and is now looking to grow its client base with the recruitment of a Freelance Assistant Video Editor reporting to the Senior Video Editor.

This is currently a remote role.
Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Assistant Video Editor to join our team at AMR Global. As an Assistant Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing videos and effective marketing & communications materials that support our business goals. Your role entails the creation of visually captivating videos utilising pre-designed templates. Emphasis is placed on adhering to strict time constraints, ensuring precision, maintaining discipline, and demonstrating unwavering dedication to assigned tasks. These criteria serve as pivotal benchmarks for success within this professional capacity. You will work closely with the Marketing team to develop and implement creative concepts for a variety of projects, including:
●        Video Editing.
●        Website design and Development.
●        Presentations and Infographics.
●        Social media graphics.
Responsibilities:
●       Video production and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro (90%).
●       Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement creative concepts for a variety of marketing and communications materials.
●       Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies.
●       Organise Media-assets as per the Marketing Manager and Business needs.
Requirements:
●        Must be using Windows OS
●        Must have a high-speed Internet connection (at least 100 Mbps speed).
●        Must have a suitable specification on their PC/Laptop to handle the video editing workloads and the specification file (dxdiag) will be requested prior to the interview.
●        Must have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with the latest version of Premiere Pro (v24)
●        Experience with Premiere Pro – someone who is comfortable working in the software, can edit templates accurately, and knows it really well.
●        Willing to do repetitive tasks which involves changing certain information in a preset template, as per new data. Please APPLY ONLY IF YOU CAN DO REPETITIVE VIDEO EDITING TASKS.
●       Experience with social media marketing.
●       Experience working with a variety of industries.
Education and Qualifications:
●       Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Video Editing or a related field.
●       2+ years of experience in Adobe Premiere Pro Video Production & Editing role.
●       Portfolio of work demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
●       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
●       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
●       Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits:
●        This is an entry level role and so the salary is commensurate with the same.
●        Compensation is based on completed video sets using company templates and submitted and approved to be used in the company’s marketing materials.
●        The number of video sets assigned cannot be guaranteed and so this role will suit an individual who is looking for an additional income or some paid part-time work experience to add to their CV.

The Application Process:
The process will be in 5 stages as follows:
You must initially answer the screening questions as below to qualify to stage 2;

A second interview of final shortlisted candidates with the managing partner will ensue, where you will be asked to demonstrate your proficiency in a live short technical project. This will be a further opportunity to ask questions about the company and the role;
If successful, the final stage will be a discussion of the specifics and offer of employment with an immediate start.
