About the Role As a Team Lead – VKYC, you’ll be the driving force behind our Video KYC operations. You'll guide a team of VKYC agents to deliver fast, compliant, and high-quality verifications. Think of this role as part mentor, part regulator, part efficiency expert. You’ll coach your team, track performance, implement process improvements, and make sure we never miss a beat on compliance. What You’ll Do Lead and inspire the VKYC team to deliver exceptional service and stay fully compliant with RBI regulations Stay updated on all RBI guidelines related to KYC and ensure your team is too Conduct onboarding training and ongoing learning sessions to keep the team sharp Monitor daily team performance, give regular feedback, and handle performance reviews Maintain adherence to SOPs and ensure resource availability for seamless day-to-day operations Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance speed and accuracy Review VKYC cases and ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant Step in to resolve complex cases, guide your team on decision-making, and escalate when needed Work closely with other departments to align on process and solve customer-impacting issues Share insights and reports on team performance, compliance status, and improvement areas with leadership What You’ll Need 3-4 years of experience in KYC/AML, preferably with some leadership or supervisory exposure Deep understanding of KYC processes and regulatory frameworks (especially Video KYC and AML) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Comfort with performance tracking, data analysis, and reporting (Excel skills a must) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Attention to detail and strong decision-making ability Experience working with Video KYC platforms or tools Certifications in KYC/AML compliance (like ACAMS, ICA) Basic knowledge of SQL Life at slice Life so good, you’d think we’re kidding: Competitive salaries.
