Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Placement & Alumni Officer to join our team at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune.

About the Role
  • Develop and maintain close liaison with Major Corporate and Industry for placement of students and internships.
  • Manage and arrange campus recruitment for the university, including negotiating tie-ups and contracts with different corporate and companies.
  • Organize soft skill, management skill, presentation skill, and interview skill coaching and training programs for students.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the distribution of relevant documentation to providers concerning placement work.
  • Respond to placement work correspondence and telephone enquiries internally and externally.
  • Maintain an updated alumni database, tracking career progress, milestones, and contributions to the institution.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with alumni to ensure ongoing engagement with the institution.
  • Organize alumni networking events, reunions, and webinars to promote collaboration and professional development.
Requirements
  • Experience in universities and handling Training and Placement.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and regional languages (English, Hindi, and Marathi).
  • Hands-on experience in using contemporary technology and applications for marketing and promotional activities.
Education and Experience
  • Possess any postgraduate or graduate degree.
  • Minimum 4-14 years of experience as a Placement & Alumni Officer.
Skills and Qualities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using contemporary technology and applications.
