Title: Senior AWS API Developer

Location: Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru (Onsite)

Job Type: 12 Months contract

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior AWS API Developer
with strong expertise in
to design, develop, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs on the AWS cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in building microservices, serverless architectures, and integrating APIs with enterprise systems while following best practices for security, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    RESTful and GraphQL APIs
    using
    on AWS.
  • Architect and implement
    serverless applications
    leveraging
    AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Step Functions
    .
  • Work on
    microservices-based architectures
    with secure and scalable deployments.
  • Implement
    authentication/authorization
    using AWS Cognito, OAuth2, or JWT.
  • Optimize API performance, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable
    CI/CD pipelines
    and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using
    CloudFormation/Terraform/CDK
    .
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using
    CloudWatch, X-Ray, and logging frameworks
    .
  • Ensure adherence to
    security standards, compliance, and governance
    in API design.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in
    , JavaScript, and TypeScript
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    AWS cloud services
    : API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/CDK.
  • Solid understanding of
    RESTful API principles, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
    .
  • Expertise in
    event-driven systems
    using AWS SNS, SQS, Kinesis, or EventBridge.
  • Strong experience with
    API security, rate limiting, and throttling
    .
  • Proficiency with
    CI/CD tools
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    Docker and Kubernetes
    in AWS environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
