Role Description
This is a contract role for a Dotnet Developer at ULTIweb Technologies located in Chennai. The Dotnet Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with software development, including object-oriented programming, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain .NET-based web applications using Umbraco and Sitecore CMS platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and functionality of web applications.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of web applications.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development and CMS platforms.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in .NET web development with a strong focus on Umbraco and/or Sitecore CMS platforms.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, etc.).
Knowledge with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React is preferred, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
