Role Description

This is a full-time on-site internship role for a Tax Analyst, Global Trade, located in Bangalore Urban district. The Tax Analyst intern will be responsible for applied research in Indirect tax planning, tax compliance, and tax strategies from a Product development perspective. The intern will also perform analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with specific focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.

Office-based role - no remote, no hybrid

We are based in north Bangalore (Hebbal)

Qualifications

  • Bachlor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science strongly preferred (If are a BCom/Commerce graduate only please do not apply)
    • This role will suit a candidate interested in pursuing further research towards a Masters or PhD in a related field
      • Deep research interest in Taxation, strategic and tactical implications on Trade, impact on GDP, and Tax Compliance
        • Experience in research methodologies and techniques
        • Strong Analytical Skills
          • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
          • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
          • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude
          • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
          • Basic knowledge of global trade and tax regulations is a strong plus
