Position Summary:
The Content Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in creating, editing, and distributing content across various digital platforms to promote women empowerment and career-building initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content marketing, social media management, and digital strategy within a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Assist in creating engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, newsletters, and website copy.
Research and write content that aligns with the company's mission to empower women and support career development.
Social Media Management:
Help manage the company's social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments.
Develop social media content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms.
SEO and Keyword Research:
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization.
Assist in implementing SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings.
Content Distribution:
Support the distribution of content through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships with other organizations.
Track and analyze the performance of content to inform future strategies.
Graphic Design and Multimedia:
Assist in creating visual content, such as infographics, images, and videos, to enhance the impact of written content.
Use design tools to produce high-quality graphics that align with brand guidelines.
Campaign Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to promote events, webinars, and workshops focused on women empowerment and career building.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative campaign ideas.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience: Previous internship or experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management is a plus but not required.
Skills:
Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
