Job Title: Property Accountant Location: Ahmedabad Shift Timing: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (Monday – Friday) Industry: Real Estate / Property Management / US Accounting Job Summary: We are seeking a Property Accountant with hands-on experience in Yardi software and a strong background in property management accounting . The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to US accounting processes , including Accounts Payable , invoice processing , and financial reporting for property portfolios. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting the accounting cycle for assigned properties. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned real estate properties. • Record and reconcile financial transactions using Yardi property management software. • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) process invoices, verify vendor details, and ensure timely payments. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews. • Prepare and review property-level financial statements and supporting schedules. • Ensure accurate coding of invoices and compliance with accounting standards. • Collaborate with the US accounting team to resolve discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines. • Assist in budget preparation, accrual entries, and variance analysis. • Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 2 - 6 years of experience in Property Accounting, preferably supporting US real estate clients. • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager or similar property management accounting software. • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and invoice processing workflows . • Experience with US GAAP and month-end closing procedures. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and US based teams. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in a Real Estate / Property Management company. • Working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
