Job Description Accounts Manager

Position: Accounts Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Malad West, Mumbai
Reports To: Director

Qualifications

  • Minimum: CA OR CA Inter Qualified
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a mid-management role.
  • Strong track record of managing statutory compliance, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

Required Skill sets

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP).
  • Expertise in ERP systems and MS Excel for financial modelling.
  • Proven experience in statutory compliance and tax matters.
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and prepare actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.

  • Financial Discipline: Ensures strict control over books, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • Manufacturing Cost Insight: Ability to analyse plant costs, variances, and recommend efficiency measures.

  • Collaboration with Operations: Works closely with plant heads, purchase, and operations teams to align finance with business needs.
