ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a Team Leader- Clearing and Settlement -Credit + Acquiring Business Operations. This is an individual contributor role and work in UAE Shift Timings (Mon – Sat) & UAE Bank Holidays.
You will be reporting to the Associate Director, Credit + Acquiring Business Operations.
THE RESPONSIBILTIES WE ENTRUST YOU WITH
- An expert in Acquiring -Clearing & Settlement & Recon – Base I and Base II, General Ledgers, Voucher preparation,Merchant Settlement, File Staging co-ordinate with network SPOC to manage daily BAU activities.- Well versed in using MS Office tool like excel, word, e-mail etc- Good in written & verbal communication- Should be an excellent team player and contribute on process Improvements- Preparation, Validation and Submission of Vouchers – BASE I and Base II- Should handle the escalation and Resolve queries immediately- Ability to write SOP & active participation in audit process.- Prepare QMR/QOC for the Schemes and Submit it to the bank- Able to reconcile Scheme funds received with the Scheme advisement and Statements- Participation in UAT Processes in Various Stages of the project and Work in Jira. Preferably worked in UAE Bank Back-office Process.
WHAT MATTERS IN THIS ROLE
Experience & Portfolio:
- 2-4 years with experience in Clearing and Settlement related to Merchants.- Sound domain knowledge of acquiring Clearing, Settlement and Recon processes.- Preparation of Base I , BASE II files, Vouchers Manually through Excel.- Reconciliation of the Vouchers with the reports and Reconciliation of Visa/Master scheme incoming funds- Knowledge of outgoing staging file & incoming file processing- Knowledge of file rejection, scheme rejection, outgoing v/s incoming reconciliation process,- Reading and Interpreting the various merchant reports generated out of the system.
Education : Graduate or Postgraduate
Technical Skills & Efficiency
- Worked in Clearing Scheme tools- Visa EDIT PACKAGE, PRE-EDIT/MFE- Repairing of Files/ Transactions During the staging- Possess Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
