Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Transition Coordinator to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex transitional projects within our organization. The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless Project Management from the current state to a future state, minimizing disruption and optimizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive transition project plans, including defining objectives, scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals.3. Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges associated with the transition and develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans.4. Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and technology assets, to meet project milestones.5. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that the transition adheres to predefined standards and performance expectations.6. Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring that the transition is embraced and adopted by all relevant parties, with minimal disruption.7. Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, project teams, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the transition.8. Issue Resolution: Identify and address project issues and challenges that may arise during the transition, making data-driven decisions and taking corrective actions.9. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Project Management, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, with a significant track record of managing complex Projects/ Transitions.- Strong project management skills, familiarity with project management methodologies, and advanced problem-solving capabilities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.- Change management experience is a plus.- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.- Proficiency in project management software and tools.- Experience required 16+ years.- Proficiency in MS Office & Power Point.
