Job Description: Aruba Networking Specialist with Switch and Wireless 7+ Years Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aruba Networking Specialist with 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Aruba network infrastructure, including switches and wireless networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, wireless, and security, and will be able to work independently to design and implement complex network solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Aruba network infrastructure, including switches and wireless networks
  • Configure and troubleshoot Aruba switches and wireless access points
  • Implement and manage Aruba's AirGroup, ClearPass, and other security features
  • Design and implement high-availability and redundancy solutions for critical network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network designs and implementations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Aruba technologies and best practices

Technical Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Aruba network infrastructure
  • Strong background in networking, wireless, and security
  • Experience with Aruba switches (OS-9, 7000 series) and wireless access points (AP-225, AP-335)
  • Experience with Aruba's AirGroup, ClearPass, and other security features
  • Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP
  • Experience with network management tools such as Aruba Central, NetBrain, and SolarWinds
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles

Certifications:

  • Aruba Certified Network Associate (ACNA)
  • Aruba Certified Network Professional (ACNP)
  • CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification
