Title: Web Content Management Developer LevelIV Location:Remote Duration: 5 Months(with Possibility of extension) Background: Client is seeking an experienced (Level IV)software engineer skilled in Drupal or other web content managementsystem development. The candidate will possess extensive solutiondevelopment knowledge with the ability to work on a defined set ofweb content management enterprise web search and related businesssystems. Scope: Thegoal is to enhance upgrade or develop operational tools andbusiness functionality for the Client web content managemententerprise web search and related systems. To work as a developeron the scrum team accomplishing priorities set by the Product Ownerand Product Manager. Current priorities include Drupal upgradesCoveo enterprise search appliance enhancements Site Studiofoundational components Sharepoint development and relateddevelopment as assigned to the scrum team. Additional work includesintegrations with authentication and web services for data transferdecommissioning older technologies migrating applications such asPHP fixing defects and expanding developer tools such as expansionof unit test and enhancing CI/CD pipelines. Additional rolesinclude assisting the scrum team with user support for the systemspair programming and code reviews. All development includesknowledge transfer to the scrum team to sustain operation andsupport for all systems where development occurs. The ideal candidates shouldhave a fundamental understanding of web content management andrelated systems such as enterprise web search migration toolscollaboration tools and others; experience working closely withSMEs product managers product owners scrum masters developers andbusiness process owners to translate business requirements intotechnical specifications and develop functionality.
  • Minimum 8 years experience
  • Minimum bachelors degree in computer science orrelated field
  • Advanced web contentmanagement system administration and/or development experience orequivalent system experience (such as Drupal or similar)
  • Advanced PHP Javascript HTML/CSSexperience
  • Database developmentexperience with MySQL SQL Server or Oracle experience
  • Sharepoint Enterprise Search (ex. Coveo) andWordPress experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of software development life cycleagile development software testing and debugging
  • Excellent communication and technicalskills.
  • Ability to produce securereliable and extendable code
