Job Description :

PHP Laravel Developer.

Software Requirements:

  • Experience with web development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall preferred)

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality, secure, and scalable web applications using Laravel.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and SOLID principles.
  • Develop and implement secure and well-structured RESTful APIs
  • Design and optimize MySQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the PHP ecosystem (Laravel, libraries, frameworks)

  • jQuery (Proficiency)
  • Frameworks:
  • Laravel (Extensive experience)
  • Databases:
  • MySQL (Strong knowledge of SQL design and optimization)
  • Web Technologies:
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • Cloud Platforms:
  • AWS (Familiarity with cloud deployment is a plus)

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit preferred)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Good to Have)

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in professional web development with a focus on PHP and Laravel
  • Proven track record of building and deploying complex web applications.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Analyse requirements, design technical solutions, and estimate development effort.
  • Develop and implement features using Laravel and best practices.
  • Write unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies.

Qualifications & Soft Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for building high-quality software and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers (Preferred)
