Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager’s from Water Sector. This role will be responsible for ensuring the cost-effective and timely delivery of detailed engineering solutions, managing engineering quality and productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, foster knowledge-sharing across disciplines, and uphold the highest standards of engineering excellence.
Locations : Chennai/ Noida/ Pune
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engineering Leadership & Delivery:
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering solutions by reviewing and approving engineering schedules and MIS reports.- Oversee the resolution of complex engineering challenges, providing guidance and additional resources as needed.- Ensure that the engineering process aligns with project timelines and delivers high-quality designs that meet specifications.
2.Engineering Quality & Process Improvement:
- Establish and enforce quality standards for design and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Promote and implement risk and value engineering practices to achieve cost-effective designs.- Lead the continuous improvement of engineering processes through standardization, automation, and knowledge sharing across disciplines.
3.Team Development & Motivation:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and retention.- Establish measurable goals for team members and conduct performance reviews to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.- Identify training and development needs, providing mentoring and coaching to support career growth and skill enhancement.
4.Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams (projects, planning, procurement, QC, construction, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and timely execution of engineering tasks.- Engage with external stakeholders such as clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure engineering requirements are met and issues are addressed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields).- Minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects.- Strong background in managing engineering teams, project schedules, and deliverables.- Expertise in engineering design, quality control, and process improvement.- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire teams.
