Cloud Engineer :
You'll be working in a team responsible for development , configuration, optimization, and support of product cloud infrastructure and services that deploy to the customers. You will be responsible for reviewing server environment and executing initiatives to reduce failures, and improve overall performance. You will work with engineering team to ensure their systems scale, increase instrumentation and automation of tests to validate their environments and coordinate and be able to resolve issues across the entire stack, including hardware, software, application , server and network.
Responsibilities :
- Setting up Configuration Management Environment.
- Implementing, deploying, and maintaining high availability systems, with features such as auto scaling,load balancing,data backup and restoration,etc by installation of alert and monitoring to services and infrastructure for data and system integrity, health and security.
- Troubleshoot problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with focus on minimizing impact on running applications.
- Oversight of all server environments, from dev through production.
- Setup monitoring tools to find problems and resolve and/or escalate to development.
- Setting up core infrastructure components as new requirements come in
- Work closely with developers to drive live title release and best deployment practices.
- Automate the provisioning of environments using tools like Ansible or containers like Docker using Hybrid infrastructure.
Skills :
- Minimum of 2+ years of production environment engineering, configuration management, release engineering.
- Hands-on experiences with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong experience with Git, GoCD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible and Nginx.
- Hands on experience in Prometheus technology.
- Experience working in a Start-up is a plus.
- Kubernetes Certified (CKA/CKD).
- GCP Certified.
