Sr PHP Developer

Ahmedabad

Night Shift

  • Design and Build Advanced Web Applications: Develop robust and user-friendly Web applications in PHP preferably using the Yii2 framework. This includes working with outside data sources and APIs, and testing code for robustness, performance, usability, and general reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Collaboration with UI/UX designers, and product teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with project owners/managers (PO/PM) and developers, both in meetings and through written communication.
  • Maintain and Enhance Existing Applications: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, improve application performance.
  • Proactive Issue Identification and Management: Proactively identify potential issues and challenges before they become critical problems.
  • Deep Understanding of PHP frameworks: Expertise in PHP and its nuances, and experience with RESTful APIs to connect Web applications to back-end services.
  • Experience with Cloud Message APIs and Mobile Push Notifications integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  • Experience implementing security and data protection solutions.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proven Software Development Experience: 4+ years of experience with PHP preferably using Yii2 framework.
