Role & responsibilities

JOB Description:

  • Virtual Prototyping & Simulation: Design and build electronic circuits using virtual breadboard and simulation software. This includes selecting appropriate virtual components, making connections, and setting up simulations.
  • Circuit Testing & Validation: Run simulations to test circuit functionality, measure parameters (voltage, current, frequency, etc.), and verify performance against design specifications in the virtual environment.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose issues within circuit designs using the virtual breadboard environment. Experiment with alternative component values or configurations to resolve problems.
  • Documentation: Create clear virtual circuit diagrams, simulation reports, and documentation based on virtual breadboard work. This may involve exporting designs or capturing simulation results.
  • Design Collaboration: Work closely with engineers or senior technicians to translate schematic designs into virtual prototypes or to validate existing designs through simulation.
  • Experimentation: Explore and test different circuit concepts or component combinations quickly and safely within the virtual environment before committing to physical builds.
  • (If applicable for education roles): Develop and demonstrate electronic concepts using virtual breadboard software for training purposes, creating interactive lessons or tutorials.
  • Physical Prototyping Support: Use insights gained from virtual simulations to inform and assist with the physical construction and testing of circuits on actual breadboards or prototype boards.
