the quality, efficiency, and success of internal and external infrastructure. We are seeking an individual with a unique blend of common sense, a strong technical understanding, and the versatility to work seamlessly as part of a team or independently. Your role goes beyond a conventional networking engineer role; you’ll be entrusted with solving complex problems within client environments, emphasizing efficiency and stability. Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, you will ensure that our managed services not only meet but exceed client expectations, contributing to the ongoing improvement and investment in our services

Responsibilities:Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues

Diagnose and resolve network performance problems, in internal and client environments

Respond promptly to service outages and incidents, implementing effective remediation measures to minimise downtime.

Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Manage and execute network configuration changes, upgrades, and deployments

Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing top tier service and support

Support both WAN and LAN Infrastructure for client and internal environments

Collaborate with data centre operations teams to coordinate network upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and incident management.

Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure solutions for both internal and external client environments.

Assist with the stability, security, and scalability of network systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions with other IT systems and applications.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior networking engineers and other technical resources within the organisation.

RequirementsEssential Skills, Experience & QualificationsAbility to make sound decisions and judgement whilst dealing with internal and external stakeholders in high pressure situations.

Cisco CCIE or CCNA Certification

Cisco Meraki Certification

5+ Years

in a Network Engineering role , managing both LAN and WAN environments.

5+ Years working with Windows and Linux Server Operating systems.

Expert level experience of data center networking technologies and methodologies, including advanced routing protocols.

Experience with designing, implementing, and managing data center networks.

Strong understanding of network protocols and standards, including

IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, VRF and MPLS

Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.

Experience with industry leading networking infrastructure ( Meraki, Fortinet, Sophos, Juniper, Cisco, Watchguard, Mikrotik, Aruba, Rukus )

Personal qualities and attributesThe ability to prioritise tasks effectively, while maintaining ticket documentation and management standardards.

Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical issues, utilising critical thinking and analytical reasoning.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A customer-centric mindset, prioritising the needs and objectives of clients while delivering exceptional service and support.
