Server Administrator Intern

Job Description:
As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our international client's server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. You will work closely with our team to manage Linux and Windows servers for Data Centers, Web Hosting and ISPs, and provide 24/7 technical support.
Job Responsibilities:
Managing 24/7 helpdesk for Data centres and Web Hosting companies
Maintaining and monitoring Linux & Windows Servers
Proactively maintain and develop all Linux/Windows infrastructure technology to maintain a 24/7 uptime service
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exception
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks Installing, configuring and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc.
Troubleshoot server issues and outages.
Requirements:
Candidates must also have fluent English and good communication skills.
Knowledge of servers and common commands
Knowledge of DNS, Web server, FTP, Mail server, POP and SSH
RHCE certification is an added advantage
Knowledge of shell/bash scripting is an added advantageSer
Must be able to work on 24/7 shift.
