JOB DESCRIPTION :

- 4+ years of experience with Talend studio building jobs for data migration and data warehousing on multiple projects

- 4+ years of experience working with an AWS platform. Experienced using Talend connectors for AWS S3, Redshift and RDS

- 4+ years of experience working with Rational relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL

- The developer will be responsible for tasks related to the data acquisition platform of an active global financial data warehouse

- Development, testing and support of high volume data transformation processes.

- Development, testing and support of transaction control architecture for a highly concurrent active data warehousing platform.

- Thorough understanding of ETL using Informatica or Talend Studio

- Proficiency in ETL Platforms: concepts, methodologies, processes, architectures and technologies.

- Experience with major ETL Platforms Knowledge: Informatica, Talend

- Data Models: Conceptual, Logical, and Physical & Dimensional/Relational Data Model Design.

- SQL Concepts & SQL Statements Optimization and Execution. Indexes and Indexing Strategies Materialized Views, Clusters, Caching, Partitioning, and Parallel Processing.

- Unix Scripting: Shell scripts, Perl etc.

- Scheduling: Control -M , Autosys or Obsidian

- Knowledge or experience with Database Architectures: Transactional Data Stores, Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouses, Data Marts.

- Knowledge of any Enterprise-Level Database server: Oracle and/or Postgres SQL

Key Skills : Informatica Power Center 9.x/10x, Talend Open Studio, Java, Oracle 12c, PostgresSql, Unix, Scheduling Tools.
