Job Overview :As a Node.js Developer Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications. You will lead a team of developers and collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient and high-performance delivery of scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :Lead and mentor a team of Node.js developers.Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure server-side applications.Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and automated testing.Design database schemas that represent and support business processes.Stay up to date with new development trends, technologies, and best practices.Manage and optimize APIs to improve performance and usability.Troubleshoot and debug applications for performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Handle deployment automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :Proven experience as a Node.js Developer with at least 5+ years of professional development experience.Solid understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.Strong experience with Express.js, Hapi.js, or other Node.js frameworks.Experience with RESTful APIs and API design best practices.Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with microservices architecture and building scalable systems.Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, secure session management, and protection against common vulnerabilities.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications :Experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.Familiarity with GraphQL.Prior experience in an e-commerce domain.
