Job ObjectiveTo enable implementation of standardized delivery, product engineering practices across product development, implementation and support projects; perform product release governance reviews/delivery risk reviews and process adherence checks participate in the sales cycle (RFI/RFP responses, proposal reviews)Experience12+ years of delivery excellence experience in a software services /software product development organization (primary requirement)6+ years of proven implementation(dev/test) / support experience in a software services/software product development organization preferredExperience in managing projects desirableKnowledge and Experience in SDLC process & methodologies viz., agile (SAFe preferred)/waterfall, project management, ALM and development/test tools, Devops, process improvement techniques like Lean, emerging areas like Saa SExperience in managing small cross functional and remote teamsKnowledge of business / project financialsExperience in managing change initiatives preferred.Job ResponsibilitiesManage a team of delivery/product engineering excellence professionalsStrategize and plan delivery, release reviews to identify delivery risks and quality/productivity improvement opportunitiesWork with delivery/engineering leadership to own/support programs to enable delivery risk mitigation/quality/productivityPerform delivery excellence/release reviews to verify implementation of standard delivery and engineering practicesWork with Delivery/engineering teams to ensure that delivery conforms to schedules, milestones, quality and scope. Ensure governance mechanisms in place are functioning effectivelyIdentify delivery risks proactively and mitigations thereof, monitor the risks; minimize customer escalations and provisioningIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, quality; work with the delivery teams to support initiatives in the areas of productivity and quality improvementDevelop and Standardize engineering, delivery and support processesLead process transformation programs in spanBenchmarking against other organizations and contextualize industry best practices to organizationEnterprise audits Content creation and delivery of process training for a portfolio of accountsFacilitate cross sharing of practicesSupport implementation of improvement actions from customer feedback mechanismsCarry our exec level reportingFunction SPOC during sales cycle
