Position Title: Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities and enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

  • Use standardized tests, observational methods, and patient interviews to diagnose conditions.

  • Provide therapy for a range of conditions, including articulation disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, and language delays.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

  • Provide consultation and training to educators and caregivers on speech and language development.

  • Regularly monitor and document patient progress.

  • Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and effective communication strategies.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.

Experience:

  • Both fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

  • Experience working with specific populations, such as children, the elderly, or individuals with developmental disabilities, is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in speech-language pathology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Proficiency in using therapeutic techniques and AAC devices.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
