Designation: SPPID Administrator Location- Mumbai Experience: 6-15 years Job Type: Permanent -Key Responsibilities: System Setup & Maintenance: -Configure and maintain the SPPID reference database. -Create and manage symbology, filters, reports, and system documentation. -Ensure daily backup routines and system integrity. Project Support: -Aid in technical requirements gathering and client meetings. -Implement new SPPID builds and project-specific customizations. -Troubleshoot and resolve P&ID-related issues. Data Management: -Manage data transfers, MTO downloads, and report generation. -Populate data from external sources (e.g., Excel) into SPPID. Quality Assurance: -Develop and enforce auditing requirements. -Ensure compliance with client and departmental drafting standards. Training & Documentation: -Conduct user and advanced-level training sessions. -Create detailed work instructions and setup documentation. Integration & Automation: -Integrate SPPID with tools like SPF, COMOS, and Excel. -Support automation enhancements and evaluate new software versions. Required Skills & Qualifications: -Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. -6–15 years of experience in SPPID administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors. -In-depth knowledge of SPPID modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.). -Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and SmartPlant Foundation. -Experience with integration of SPPID with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.). -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
