POSITION PURPOSE

The Technology Procurement Manager is responsible for the enterprise-level optimisation of technology procurement and maximising the value of IDP’s technology supplier relationships.Establishing and managing IDP technology procurement function including the activities, processes, roles, and accountabilities for all IDP Technology procurement, contracts, support, maintenance, and vendor performance management.

. Delivering on identified opportunities for effective Category Management with expected impact measured in the millions.Collaborative Teams

. Working with other members of the Technology Management Office, Corporate Procurement, Legal, Project Teams and IDP’s Technology Support teams oriented toward the adoption of smart technologies and improved processes.Communication

. Significantly, and continuously,optimising and raising the understanding of Technology Procurement Processes across stakeholder groups.Optimising Risk

. Working with Corporate Procurement, Legal, Risk, Accounts Payable and other members of the Technology Management Office to optimise IDP’s approach to managing Technology Vendor Risk.
