The organizational genius who turns ambitious ideas into flawlessly executed You Tube videos? We're looking for an Assistant Director (AD) to be the driving force on our set, ensuring every production runs like a well-oiled machine. You will be the Director's right hand, empowering our creative team by managing all the moving parts of a shoot, from pre-production planning to the final wrap. Responsibilities Orchestrate Production: You’ll own the logistics. Partner with the Director to build production schedules, scout locations, create shot lists, and prepare everything needed for a successful shoot. Command the Set: Lead with confidence on filming days. You will manage call times, direct talent, and maintain the energy and pace to keep us on schedule and on-vision. Be the Ultimate Problem-Solver: Think two steps ahead. You'll anticipate potential issues and swiftly tackle any on-set challenge—technical, logistical, or creative—before it becomes a roadblock. Bridge Communication: Act as the central communication hub for our crew, talent, and creative teams. Your clarity will ensure everyone is aligned and working towards the same goal. Drive Post-Production Forward: Seamlessly transition from set to edit bay by organizing footage, supporting editors, and ensuring the final product perfectly matches the creative vision. Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience as an Assistant Director or a high-performing Production Assistant, with a portfolio showcasing your work in digital video (You Tube focus is a huge plus). Required Skills An obsession with organization. You can juggle schedules, people, and equipment lists without breaking a sweat and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A natural leader's presence. You communicate with clarity and confidence, capable of directing both talent and crew effectively. Unflappable under pressure. When things go wrong on set, you’re the one who calmly finds a solution. A solid understanding of production gear (cameras, lighting, audio) and the entire video workflow. Preferred Skills A deep passion for and understanding of the You Tube ecosystem and what makes content successful on the platform. Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
