Job Description :

The network infrastructure Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing organisations network infrastructure. This includes ensuring high availability security and performance of systems to support business operations. The role requires expertise in server management, network and architecture troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

Key responsibilities :

• Design implements and maintain LAN,VAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Configuring management devices such as router, switches, firewalls and access points.
• Monitor Network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Ensure network security by implementing fireqalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems and encryption protocols.
• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to ensure reliable Internet connectivity

Security and compliance:

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures and best practices for service and network.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001).

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of server operating systems like windows and Linux.
• Proficiency in networking protocols TCP/IP , DNS, DHCPV lens experience with virtualization technologies like VM Ware and hyper- V.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS Azure and Google cloud

Problem-Solving: A bility to diagnose and resolve complex network issues analytical mindset with a focus on root cause analysis.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to explain technical concepts on non-technical stakeholders.

• Certifications:
  • Cisco CCNP / CCNP CCNA
  • CompTIA Network plus, CompTIA server +

Project management :

• Plan and execute server and network infrastructure upgrades migrations and expansions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirement and deliver solutions manage budget and timelines for infrastructure projects.

Experience :

• 5-6 years of experience in network administration.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise grade infrastructure.

Work environment :

• On site work model depending on organizational requirements.
• May require after hours support during emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
• Collaboration with IT teams vendors and external service providers.

Key Performance Indicators KPI's:

• Network latency and reliability.
• Incidence response and resolution times.
• Compliance with security standards.
