Staff Engineer

What we’re looking for:To develop world class, highly integrated, low power, System on a Chip devices to serve the IoT wireless market. A member of the digital design team developing innovative low power blocks and chip infrastructure and performing the integration of digital and mixed-signal IP, verification, and quality checks. Complete the full product lifecycle from concept through development to silicon bring-up and production.
Skills you’ll need:RequiredVerilog RTL design with demonstrated experience of taking designs through the silicon development lifecycle to productionKnowledge of embedded processor systems and C codingExperience in block and chip-level verificationExperience with logic simulators for both RTL and gate-level simulation, design/waveform browsers, and power analysis toolsExperience with logic synthesis and timing constraintsExperience with scripting and automation. Knowledge of Python, Perl, and TclExperience with revision control and configuration management systems (such as Perforce, Git, Methodics)Excellent written and verbal communications skillsDemonstrated ability to generate high output in a self-driven mannerDesiredExperience/knowledge in low-power design techniquesExperience/knowledge of multiple clocking systems, clock domain crossing techniquesFamiliar with design for test methods, such as logic scan, IDDQ, memory BISTFamiliar with design implementation flows and tools, such as logic synthesis, static timing analysis, place and route.Experience with Verilog-AMS or other Verilog based real-number modeling
Functional Role:Develop chip infrastructure and digital block specifications and architectureRTL design of modules through System Verilog HDL coding, adhering to quality standardsPrepare and hold architecture, design and verification reviews with technical staff throughout project lifecycleSoC level configuration and integration of digital and mixed-signal IPs. Examples include embedded processors, memory and controllers, busses, power and clocking systems, security systems, machine learning, radio systems, analog IP, and pads.Perform logic synthesis, timing and power analysis to optimize designsPre-silicon verification utilizing a combination of block/chip-level test benches.Validation/bring-up of designs on silicon, providing support to cross-functional teams
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 8+ years in Industry
